Menarche for Moms: Supporting the First Menstrual Experience

doula resources events menstruation Dec 18, 2024

Join us for Menarche for Moms, a two-hour interactive educational workshop designed especially for homeschool parents and their children, ages 8-13! This special workshop is open to ALL genders, whether you get a period or not :-) Dads are welcome to join too!

All participants will receive a shared goodie bag and educational resources to take home.

This engaging session provides families with empowering, age-appropriate knowledge about the menstrual cycle and the onset of puberty. Through hands-on activities, open discussions, and practical tips, parents and kids will gain a solid understanding of what to expect, how to manage symptoms, and how to support each other in creating a positive approach to menstruation.

Your child deserves to feel confident, knowledgable, and supported as they enter this new stage of growth. Menarche for Moms offers a safe, nurturing space to learn together, ask questions, and build a foundation for open conversations around puberty and menstruation.
